Meet David
Welcome, I’m glad you are here! I am humbled that you would grant me opportunity to walk with you on your health journey. Congratulations taking the first step to redeeming your health!
Your health journey should be redemptive. If you haven’t discovered this before, you just found the right place.
I am a licensed, board certified, Physician Assistant from central Indiana and now live in Tipton County. I received a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from Grace College in 2011 and a Masters of Physician Assistant studies from Butler University in 2014. I have over a decade of experience working along side patients in family medicine. I love working to improve chronic disease, mental health, pesky muscular issues and just generally love to see my patients catch a glimmer of hope that health is attainable.
When not working, my wife Jessica and I love good meals and deep conversation. We have remodeled too many houses, planted lots of flowers, and raised a lot of chickens. We are active members at our local church and love exploring the woods with our 4 children - Lucy, Landon, Mason and Miles. Maybe someday we might even try a dairy cow but that’s another whole discussion.
It sounds cliche, but Mission Health is truly is born out of divine calling. As I think of the lives (your life) that could benefit from the gift of a healthy body and soul, I’m electric. It took me until my late 30s to fully grasp how specifically God had fashioned me to labor along side people walking through their own struggles. It would be an honor and privilege to walk with you on your worst day, and my greatest joy to watch you succeed!

I have always been fascinated by the bodies resilience and mechanics. Early in high school I knew I would work in healthcare. Health then was drinking water and not soda. In recent years it’s grown to helping my children’s food sensitivities and helping patients break free of treatments that don’t work toward real healing. Treatment plans now include evaluating minerals more carefully, mixing in homeopathy and just generally being willing to ask better questions.…. Ask me about my allergies sometime!
Now that you’re here, why does this matter to you? You see, Romans 8 states that “creation was subjugated to futility” and we groan for the “redemption of our bodies”. I want to be a part of God’s process of redemption. I want you to experience it.
More professional stated, my mission is to provide a healthcare experience built on creative and personal treatments that pursue redemption of both your physical body and your soul.
Using the DPC model, a monthly subscription based care mode, it’s all about you, the patient. Office visits are designed to be longer and more in depth. When you are injured or sick, skip the urgent care. You can be seen quickly in person or virtually while having access to low cost imaging and labs. If something changes you are encouraged to call back, ask questions, come back into the office with no additional cost. If it’s within your comfort level, we have an in office sauna to help fight injury and illness.
I have worked in our health care system long enough to know it’s not built to make you whole again. Mostly, I was trained to identify the condition and treat it with medication. It’s not all bad but I’d say it’s not redemptive. Redemptive healthcare means your medication list gets shorter and your body experiences more life.
In closing, many years ago when God saved me from myself, I didn’t know the future. Come to think about it, I still don’t, but what I do know is this. My soul was redeemed out of the ruin I lived in. With that spirit I’ll walk with you. So what are we waiting for? Let’s do this together and find out what redemptive health looks like for body and soul.
